NÚRIA CALSAPEU CULUBRET

Born 1981 in Mataró, Spain, she has a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona with the speciality of drawing since 2003. Later she specialized in design and jewels creation in the workshop of the craft jeweler Txè Aymat.

She has carried out courses of Intaglio Printmaking in the Local Council of Culture in Mataró with masters Pilar Lloret and Jordi Rosés, where she is now a student in the open studio, experimenting with the possibilities of this technique and its applications in jewels.

In 2007 she does a residency in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in the workshop of chiseller René Blhum. There she learns techniques of chiselling applicable to jewelry.

She currently combines her tasks as a teacher of visual and plastic arts and as a jeweler and printmaker.
